Pesona Resort is situated in the 'Sentral' area of Gili Trawangan. It is a short walk south of the jetty and the harbour where most people start their island adventure - basically turn left when you get off your boat and we are a 5 to 10 minute stroll away. If you have heavy bags or simply don't fancy the exercise, just stop a horsecart or 'cidomo' and they will bring you to our door.
The 'Sentral' area is home to the island's main restaurants and bars, so you are close to all the top eateries, serving a range of local and western food and displaying a mouth-watering array of freshly caught fish and seafood to throw on the BBQ. Of course we have our own restaurant too – the only Indian cuisine on the island – where you can delight your taste buds with our freshly cooked dishes, made with imported spices by specially trained chefs. Why not finish your meal off with an authentic Sheesha and sit on the beach and watch all the island activity pass before your eyes.
For the daytime, we have our own beautiful pool, adjacent to the bar, where you can sit on our comfy sunbeds and watch the world go by whilst sipping on a morning juice or lassie, or an afternoon cocktail or beer. Soak up the sun and work on that tan to make all your friends envious of your break! If you prefer the beach, we have a private area right on our own beachfront, and you can wander up the road to the main beach area where you can swim and snorkel to your heart's content. Or maybe you dive, or aspire to become a diver? No problem. There are many dive shops on the island, all within a short distance of Pesona. We would be happy to point you in the right direction for a bit of underwater adventure.
Whatever your plans for your holiday on Gili Trawangan, Pesona is ideally situated to ensure that you have a relaxing stay and make the most of what the island has to offer. If you want to just lounge by the pool with a few good books, our friendly and dedicated staff are available to entertain you and to make sure that your glass is always full. If you want to venture out, they will tell you about activities available and they will always have a friend who can sort you out with a boat trip or some snorkelling gear! When the book has become too much, or you just want to kick back and relax, you can catch up on the main Sporting events or watch a Movie every evening on our Big Screen. This is situated within the covered restaurant area, so you can order your food and drinks to be served as you view.
